Anchorage Museum hosts Alaska makers market July 17
Alaska artists and makers will take over the Anchorage Museum lawn Friday, July 17, for an outdoor market running 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 625 C Street in downtown Anchorage.
The event, called "Crafted in Alaska: Summer Edition," brings together artists and makers working in printmaking, ceramics, wood, jewelry, and home goods. The museum describes the work as "reflecting the materials, stories, and perspectives of the North."
Attendees can meet the people behind the work, learn about their process, and spend time outside on the museum lawn.
Ticket and admission details had not been confirmed as of Monday. The museum's event listing directs prospective attendees to click the "Notify me" button on the event page for updates on whether tickets will be required. The museum's summer hours run 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily through Sept. 30.
