From the very first day, bring on the stakeholders, bring on the users, bring on the people who are going to be using or involved in the project after it's completed, and really let them take the lead. Of course, you're going to need a lot of people, people with financial experience, legal experience, hopefully grant writing experience, but, but really the stakeholders the ones that are going to use the program or project, those are the ones that should lead the project. We had so much involvement from the skate community. Everybody was on board, everybody was super stoked about it, and they would show up to every single borough assembly meeting. And whether they knew what they were doing or not, they just got up there, they found their voice, they were confident, and they just showed the borough how passionate they were about creating creating a safe place to skate.

We have these wonderful public servants and just reach out to them and bring them on board and share your mission.
