Lord, mercifully guide us through the trials and tribulations, the joys and discoveries that we make today. Help us use our best judgment in our actions throughout this day, this week, and this session. God, you have told us what is good and what you require of us, except to act with justice and love. To diligently practice kindness and compassion, and to walk humbly before you, Lord, setting aside any overblown sense of importance or self-righteousness. Help us, Lord, as we are all just people, and we're the worst kind.
