Site that you're standing on is a 103-acre parcel. It's also projected for a future high school, so this, this actual parcel that we're on now will house 2 schools, and then there's a 10-acre parcel just to your front left where Denina Elementary School will be built starting next year.

Without the support from our legislators and from the voters here in the Valley, we would not be building any buildings. We are the 5th largest city in the state right now in the Kinnick-Fairview area. This is forward thinking, putting these schools here today instead of chasing our tails later, and the electorate is to thank for that.

It's really an honor to see these types of projects started that the voters put their stamp of approval on, and we had the opportunity to come up with the matching funds and continue this education model that the Matsu Borough is leading the state with.
