Veterans group endorses Sullivan, citing Marine service and energy record

Concerned Veterans for America Action endorsed Sen. Dan Sullivan for re-election, citing his Marine Corps service, veteran advocacy, and support for domestic energy production and affordability for Alaska families. The endorsement was announced through Sullivan's campaign website.

Americans for Prosperity Action also recently endorsed him, pairing its endorsement with a six-figure statewide ad buy highlighting his energy and regulatory record.

John Byrnes, Senior Advisor to CVA Action, said: "As a Marine Corps veteran representing one of the nation's largest veteran populations, Sen. Sullivan understands firsthand the sacrifices of those who serve and has been a steadfast advocate for Alaska's veterans in Washington. Beyond his advocacy for veterans, he has demonstrated a commitment to expanding domestic energy production, cutting burdensome regulations, and lowering costs for Alaska families."

Sullivan serves on the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee. CVA Action has also endorsed Jon Husted in Ohio. Sullivan faces Democrat Mary Peltola in November.
