Two men face assault charges after beer-throwing, punching inside Healy vehicle

Two men face fourth-degree assault charges after a fight inside a vehicle in Healy early Thursday left one man struck by a thrown beer and the other punched in the face.

Alaska State Troopers from the Nenana post responded at approximately 3:33 a.m. Investigators determined that Alan Uchrihnscko, 57, of Pennsylvania, threw a Tall Boy beer from the front seat at a rear passenger, Isaac Auvaa, 28, of Florida. Auvaa then punched Uchrihnscko in the face multiple times.

Troopers forwarded assault charges against both men to the District Attorney's Office, which will decide whether to prosecute. Both men are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
