New Seward Hwy ramp to Homer Dr closed Monday for guardrail repairs

The ramp from New Seward Highway to Homer Drive is closed until 4:30 PM Monday for guardrail and fencing repairs, blocking the connection for most of the workday.

The closure runs from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM and affects all lanes on the ramp. Motorists heading to the Homer Drive industrial and commercial area must use alternate routes until the ramp reopens.

Alaska DOT&PF lists the closure as a minor-severity event on Alaska 511. Motorists should check Alaska 511 before the planned 4:30 PM reopening in case the schedule changes.
