GSA awards Anchorage's Chugach Solutions $43,689 in sole-source FBI work in Washington

GSA's Public Buildings Service has awarded Anchorage-based Chugach Solutions Enterprise LLC two orders worth a combined $43,689 for maintenance work at the FBI's Washington Field Office at 601 4th Street NW. Federal records code both as not available for competition, awarded to a single source.

One order, worth $23,334 (ID 47PE5326F0232), covers fall-protection installation at a loading dock shipment area and a stationary compactor; it runs from Sept. 14 through Feb. 12, 2027. The other, worth $20,355 (ID 47PE5326F0297), covers a generator breaker replacement and runs from Sept. 2 through Nov. 19, 2026.

Both orders fall under an indefinite-delivery contract, which sets a spending limit the agency orders work against. The GSA awarded it Jan. 29 through the Small Business Administration's 8(a) program, which reserves federal contracts for small, disadvantaged businesses. The record describes that January award as an exercise of option year 1 on an existing facilities management contract there. Chugach Solutions has held the FBI's maintenance work since November 2022.

The contract can pay out up to $10.3 million; about $3.5 million has been committed.
