TA594-8 Public Comment Deadline - Chugach Electric Gas Transfer Price Filing

The Regulatory Commission of Alaska (RCA) has issued a public notice regarding a tariff filing (TA594-8) by Chugach Electric Association, Inc. The utility is seeking to adjust its Gas Transfer Price (GTP) for gas sourced from the Beluga River Unit. The proposed increase moves the price from $8.13 per Mcf to $8.14 per Mcf. This price adjustment is intended to be recovered through Chugach’s cost of power adjustment (COPA) surcharge mechanism. If approved, the new rate will take effect on October 1, 2026.
