Securus Technologies Tariff Filing Comment Deadline

The Regulatory Commission of Alaska (RCA) has issued a public notice regarding tariff filings TA10-758 and TA31-461 submitted by Securus Technologies, LLC. Securus, which provides inmate calling services in Alaska, is seeking approval to increase its Federal Cost Recovery Charge from 2.32% to 2.55%. The Commission notes that it may approve rates or classifications that differ from those proposed by the utility. The statutory notice period for these filings is scheduled to conclude on September 4, 2026. Interested parties may submit comments on the filings until 5:00 p.m. on August 10, 2026. Comments must be filed with the Commission and a copy must be provided to Securus. Individuals requiring special accommodations for disabilities must submit requests by August 3, 2026.
