Response deadline: Iron Stable Isotope Analysis (W913E526QA007)
About this event
The Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) Alaska Research Office has issued a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the analysis of up to 40 water samples to determine iron (Fe) stable isotopes. The samples will be collected by CRREL during the summer of 2026 from thawing permafrost areas and shipped to the contractor for processing via plasma sourced multi-collector mass spectrometry (MC-ICP-MS).
The contractor is required to perform sample reception, quality assessment, isotopic fractionation analysis, and data processing. All work must be performed at the contractor's facility, and no travel is required. The contract is a firm-fixed-price job, with a period of performance running from September 3, 2026, through March 2, 2027. The final raw and processed data must be delivered by March 1, 2027.
