The Governor's Council on Disabilities and Special Education is organizing an optional training session for its members. This training is scheduled for Tuesday, June 16, and will run from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The primary focus of this session is Alaska’s Developmental Disabilities Shared Vision. The training aims to provide an in-depth understanding of this vision.
Council Co-Chair Corey Gilmore will be the main facilitator for this training. Gilmore will guide participants through the historical context, current importance, and future trajectory of the Shared Vision work within Alaska.
The overarching goal of this training is to reorient council members around the principles and objectives of the Shared Vision, clarifying its relevance and connections within their work.
