Anchorage Assembly Meeting - AM No. 484-2026
About this event
The Municipality of Anchorage is seeking Assembly approval to award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts to McKinley Fence Company of Mat-Su Valley, Inc. and Acme Fence Company. These contracts are intended to provide fencing construction and repair services for the Parks & Recreation Department on an as-needed basis within Anchorage.
The procurement process, initiated under ITB 2026C031, resulted in three bids, with two firms deemed responsive and responsible. The initial contract term is one year, with three additional one-year renewal options. The initial not-to-exceed (NTE) amount for each contract is $500,000, which could reach a total of $2,000,000 per contract if all options are exercised.
The administration has requested that a maximum purchase order value of $150,000 be established for these contracts. The memorandum is signed by Mayor Suzanne LaFrance and supported by various municipal department heads, including the Purchasing Officer and the CFO.
