Alaska Advisory Committee Business Meeting
📍 Zoom
About this event
The Alaska Advisory Committee to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights has announced a series of four virtual business meetings to be held via Zoom. The primary purpose of these sessions is to review draft project proposals and plan upcoming briefings to collect testimony. The meetings are open to the public, and attendees may join via provided registration links or by phone.
The meetings are scheduled for June 22, July 6, July 22, and August 3, 2026. Each session includes an open comment period for members of the public. Written comments may also be submitted to the Designated Federal Officer, Kayla Fajota, within 30 days following each meeting.
Interested parties can access meeting records through the Commission's file-sharing portal or the FACA database. The Commission notes that while the toll-free number is free for land-line users, mobile callers may incur charges according to their personal wireless plans. Requests for additional accommodations must be submitted to Angelica Trevino at least 10 business days before the relevant meeting.
