9th Annual Alaska Yoga Festival
📍 Chena River area and Morris Thompson Center, Fairbanks, Alaska
About this event
The 9th Annual Alaska Yoga Festival is scheduled for Saturday, July 11th, 2026, from 9 AM to 8 PM in Griffin Park, Fairbanks, AK. This "ALL DAY, ALL YOU CAN YOGA" event offers hourly classes from 9 AM to 6 PM across three venues: the Mainstage along the Chena River, two Workshop tents at the Morris Thompson Center, and Specialty Workshops. Activities range from sound healing and meditation to drumming and kids' programs, catering to all experience levels.
Additional workshops are available on Friday, July 10th, hosted at various Fairbanks businesses, studios, clinics, and eateries. These "Add-Ons" typically incur an additional cost due to their longer duration and material expenses. The festival emphasizes community engagement, with all educators donating their time to share yoga.
The festival's 2026 non-profit partner is The Resource Center for Parents and Children (RCPC), a Fairbanks organization serving the community for over 50 years. RCPC focuses on parenting, child development, behavioral health, and child maltreatment prevention through programs like Family Services, Stevie’s Place Child Advocacy Center, and Behavioral Health. A portion of ticket sales supports RCPC.
Key dates include educator application deadline on Friday, April 24th, 8 PM, and early bird tickets going on sale April 1st, with prices increasing on May 1st and June 1st (youth pricing remains constant). The educator lineup will be released on May 1st, 2026.
