Delta Junction woman arrested in copper wire theft case; accomplice sought
Alaska State Troopers arrested Julie Sava of Delta Junction on Sunday in connection with copper wire thefts at a local business and are now seeking a possible accomplice in the case.
The thefts occurred around June 22.
Surveillance footage and witness statements pointed investigators toward a second person. "Evidence gathered during the investigation, including surveillance footage and witness information, suggests the possibility of an accomplice," troopers said. "The investigation remains ongoing as they work to determine the full extent of those involved."
Charges are accusations. Sava is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
Anyone with information about the thefts or a possible accomplice is asked to contact the Alaska State Troopers.
