
APK Building Marks 10 Years With Free Family Fair Saturday
The Alaska State Museum opens its doors Saturday, June 27, for a free public celebration marking 10 years since the opening of the Andrew P. Kashevaroff Building.
The fair runs from 1 to 4 p.m. in the APK plaza or atrium at 395 Whittier St. No registration is required and admission is free. Activities include a marine mammal matching game, yarn wish sticks, a pop-up planetarium, salmon hats, pop art, bracelet making, a sensory table, free books, balloon animals, and more. The Friends of the Alaska State Library, Archives, and Museum will provide cake while supplies last.
