Anchorage Assembly awards $3.3M in contracts to manage three city ice arenas

The Anchorage Assembly voted 12-0 on June 26 to award about $3.3 million in contracts for the management of three city ice arenas. The vote, continued from the Assembly's June 23 meeting, approved both contracts together in a single motion.

Anchorage Community Ice Management received a $450,010 contract to operate the Ben Boeke and Dempsey Anderson Ice Arenas under Assembly Memorandum AM 421-2026. All In 49, LLC received a not-to-exceed $2,885,928 contract to operate the George M. Sullivan Arena under AM 422-2026. Both awards followed the municipal Venues division's competitive solicitation, RFP 2026P010.

The special meeting was chaired by Assembly Chair Anna Brawley. Chief Administrative Officer Bill Falsey, Mayor Suzanne LaFrance, and Municipal Attorney Eva Gardner spoke on the items before the Assembly took its vote.
