Susitna Valley Fish & Game Committee to Review Fisheries Proposals April 21

The Susitna Valley Fish and Game Advisory Committee will hold a public meeting April 21 at 5:00 p.m. to discuss two Board of Fisheries proposals affecting local waters.

The committee will review Proposal 189 and Proposal 192 at the Talkeetna Library, located at 24645 Talkeetna Spur Road. The meeting is open to the public.

Advisory committees are local groups that develop regulatory proposals and make recommendations to the Alaska Board of Fisheries and Alaska Board of Game. They provide a forum for residents to discuss fishing and wildlife issues, evaluate proposed regulations, and address habitat concerns.

Details on both proposals are available on the Board of Fisheries website. Meeting minutes will be posted on the Susitna Valley Advisory Committee page after the meeting.
