State seeks bids for Rampart airport maintenance contract

The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities is accepting bids for a maintenance contract at the Rampart Rural Airport. Bids are due by 10 a.m. Alaska time on June 15, 2026.

The contract covers routine maintenance work at the airport, which serves the village of Rampart on the Yukon River about 100 miles west of Fairbanks. The state will publicly open all bids at the deadline.

Contractors must download bid documents from the state's Online Public Notice website and register with the procurement officer to receive any updates. The state will reject bids from contractors who fail to register. Late bids, faxed bids, and oral proposals will not be accepted.

The department said it will ensure disadvantaged business enterprises have full opportunity to submit bids and will not discriminate based on race, color, or national origin.

Bidders with disabilities who need auxiliary aids or special accommodations should contact the Division of Supply and Services at least 10 days before the bid opening.
