State seeks bids for power generation equipment through June 23

The Alaska Department of Administration is accepting proposals through June 23 for electrical power generation equipment, parts, and related services under a cooperative purchasing agreement with Sourcewell, a Minnesota government agency.

The request for proposals covers equipment and supplies that could be purchased by thousands of government agencies, schools, nonprofits, and tribal governments across the United States and Canada. Proposals are due by 3:30 p.m. Central Time on June 23, 2026.

Sourcewell operates as a service cooperative that allows public agencies to purchase goods and services through pre-negotiated contracts. The solicitation became available May 5 on the Sourcewell Procurement Portal.

Only proposals submitted through the online portal will be considered. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Interested vendors must create a free account on the Sourcewell Procurement Portal to view the full request for proposals and submit a response. The portal homepage includes instructions for creating an account.
