Aleutian Airways seeks 4-month terminal space at Anchorage airport

The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities is accepting public comments through May 21 on a proposed terminal lease for Aleutian Airways LLC at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. The 120-day permit would run from May 15 through September 11.

The carrier is seeking 808 square feet of office and breakroom space in the South Terminal at a rate of $131.64 per square foot per year. The short-term lease covers Room SA2520, which is 671 square feet, and Room SA2532, which is 137 square feet.

Aleutian Airways already operates in Alaska under a five-year state permit that runs through June 30, 2028. The City of Unalaska approved an airport sublease for the carrier in 2024, describing it as the only commercial airline serving that airport at the time.
