Alaska Marijuana Board schedules emergency meeting on Administrative Order 360

The Alaska Marijuana Control Board will hold a special meeting June 3 to address Administrative Order 360, though the state has not disclosed what the order involves or why it requires urgent board action.

The virtual meeting begins at 10:00 a.m. and is open to the public via Zoom only. Alaskans who need accommodations to participate must contact the Alcohol and Marijuana Control Office by May 22.

Alaska News previously reported that the Department of Fish and Game released a regulatory reform plan under Administrative Order 360. The Alaska Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Board also scheduled an emergency meeting for May 22, suggesting multiple boards are responding to the administrative order.

The board operates under Alaska Statute 17.38.111, which governs marijuana regulation in the state.
