State seeks public comment on cybersecurity contract through May 4

The Alaska State Legislature is accepting public comments through May 4 on its intent to award a contract for cybersecurity assessments of select state information technology systems.

The contract, identified as RFP 26-33-03, would provide security evaluations of state computer systems. The Legislature posted the notice of intent to award on April 24.

The procurement falls under professional services and applies statewide. The notice does not specify which state systems would be assessed or the contract value.

Alaskans can submit comments through the state's online public notice system at notices.alaska.gov. Comments must be posted by 11:59 p.m. on May 4. The agency will consider all posted comments but will not respond to them individually.
