State seeks comments on airport storage lease expansion by May 30

The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities is accepting public comments through May 30 on a proposed lease supplement that would add 729 square feet of storage space at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport.

NHG Airport LLC applied to add Room C1507A in the South Terminal to its existing lease. The company operates food and beverage concessions at the airport and would use the additional space for storage. The supplement would extend through January 31, 2033, at $25 per square foot annually, billed monthly.

The public can submit comments or competing applications in writing to [email protected] or by mail to Sara Haley, Leasing Office, Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, P.O. Box 196960, Anchorage, Alaska 99519-6960. Comments must arrive by 4:00 p.m. on May 30.

The lease file is available for review during regular business hours at the airport leasing office in the South Terminal at 5000 West International Airport Road.

After the comment period closes, the department will decide whether to execute the lease supplement. The department reserves the right to reject any or all applications.
