State seeks bids for new sidewalk at Soldotna Alaska State Troopers post

The Alaska Department of Public Safety is accepting bids through May 21, 2026, for construction of a new sidewalk at the Alaska State Troopers post in Soldotna.

Proposals must be submitted electronically by 2:00 p.m. Alaska Time on May 21. The department will not accept faxed, mailed, or oral bids.

Contractors interested in bidding must register with the procurement officer to receive any updates or amendments to the project specifications. The department warns that failure to register may result in rejection of a bid.

The project falls under the Department of Public Safety's construction procurement process. Bidders must complete an offeror questionnaire as part of their submission.

Chris Capps, the procurement officer overseeing the project, said all questions about the bid must be submitted in writing. Phone conversations about the project must be confirmed in writing to be considered official.
