State seeks bids for Dalton Highway gravel stockpiling project

The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities is accepting bids through June 9, 2026, for a federally funded project to stockpile aggregate along the Dalton Highway.

Bids must arrive by 11:00 a.m. Alaska Time on June 9, when they will be opened publicly via phone conference. The project involves stockpiling road materials along the 414-mile highway that serves as the primary supply route to Prudhoe Bay and North Slope communities.

Companies can download bid documents from the Online Public Notice website but must register with the procurement officer to receive amendments. Late bids, faxed proposals, and oral proposals will not be accepted.

The procurement includes provisions for disadvantaged business enterprises under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act. The state will ensure full opportunity to submit bids without discrimination based on race, color, or national origin.

Bidders with disabilities who need auxiliary aids or special modifications should contact the Division of Supply and Services at least 10 days before the bid opening.
