State approves public access easement at Nenana River Bridge near Rex

The Alaska Department of Natural Resources has authorized a 2.1-acre public access easement near the Nenana River Bridge at Rex, south of Fairbanks.

The easement covers land south of the western approach to Bridge 0216 at milepost 276 of the Parks Highway. The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities requested the easement, which was approved April 13.

The easement runs through Government Lot 8 in Section 14, Township 8 South, Range 9 West, according to the Fairbanks Meridian survey. The exact boundaries appear on Exhibit A, available through the Department of Natural Resources.

The Northern Regional Land Office issued the authorization under Alaska Statute 38.05.850, which governs public access easements on state land.
