Southern Norton Sound Fish and Game Committee seeks public input by May 1

The Southern Norton Sound Fish and Game Advisory Committee will hold a public meeting April 27 at 11 a.m. to discuss proposed changes to game regulations. The committee is accepting proposals from the public through May 1.

The meeting will be held via Zoom and telephone. Residents can join online at https://us06web.zoom.us/j/83820475090 using meeting ID 838 2047 5090 and password NORTON. Participants can also call 669-900-6833.

The committee will review game proposals and discuss other fish and wildlife topics as needed. Advisory committees develop regulatory proposals, evaluate changes to fish and game rules, and provide local input on conservation and habitat issues.

The Southern Norton Sound committee covers communities in the Norton Sound region. The committee advises the Alaska Board of Game on regulations affecting local hunting and wildlife management.
