Alaska Department of Law seeks vendors for new legal case management system

The Alaska Department of Law is accepting proposals through May 8, 2026, for a new cloud-based Legal Matter Management System to replace its current case tracking software.

The Civil Division wants to modernize how it handles legal cases by implementing a secure system that includes timekeeping, billing, and financial management tools designed for public sector legal work. Companies must submit proposals by email to [email protected] no later than 2:00 p.m. on May 8.

The department will accept written questions about the project until April 24 at 2:00 p.m., also submitted to [email protected] or by calling 907-465-4337. Product demonstrations are scheduled between May 11-20.

Companies interested in bidding must register with the procurement officer by providing their company name, representative contact information, email address and phone number. Failure to register may result in bid rejection.

After the May 8 deadline, the department will review proposals and conduct vendor demonstrations before selecting a contractor for the legal management system upgrade.
