Alaska Court System seeks bids for Palmer Courthouse expansion

The Alaska Court System is accepting sealed bids for construction work to expand the Palmer Courthouse. Bids are due May 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.

Contractors must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting and site inspection on May 6, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. in the lobby of the Palmer Courthouse at 435 S. Denali Street. Questions arising from the meeting must be submitted at least 10 days before the bid deadline.

The project involves expansion work at the courthouse in downtown Palmer. Full construction documents and specifications are available in the attached files on the state's online public notice system.

Sealed bids can be hand-delivered or mailed to Sam Duke, Facilities Deputy Director, Alaska Court System, 820 W. 4th Avenue, Anchorage, AK 99501.

The court system will review bids after the May 25 deadline and award the contract according to state procurement rules. Construction documents include detailed specifications, special conditions, and storm drainage reports for the Palmer site.
